eclectic musical genre offerings

Kona Music Sampler vol 2 was held on July 10, 2010 at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.

Headliners were Grammy Award winners Charles Michael Brotman and Charlie Recaido. Their slack key performance was received by loud and happy acclamation.

The event was opened by "world beat" ukulele musician and composer, Barak Levi. He is best known for his composition, Rivers of Babylon.

Opera and contemporary arias were delivered by new young artist, Chamika Fujioka. She was followed by local band trio, Acoustic Goodness.

Proceeds raised helped underwrite the Oct Young Artists' Showcase.
