The Arts of Kona’s 4^th Annual Young Artist Showcase will be October 20, 2012, 9am to 1pm, at the King Kamehameha Beach Hotel Ballroom. We are excited to, again, offer this non-competitive event to our local students to exhibit their visual or performance talents. Please click and open the article to find Student registration forms as well as a Parent letter.  Teacher letters can be emailed upon request.  Registrations must be received by September 15^th to assure a spot in our event.  This year's 3rd Annual Young Artist Showcase is now in the history books and was it a success?

Oh, yes it was!

Arts of Kona was excited by the response we had to the showcase from teachers, parents, students and the public. It has been overwhelming. We were entertained and amazed throughout the day. This year we showcased 301 students from 17 West Hawaii schools.

Arts of Kona sends out a BIG MAHALO to the teachers, directors, instructors of all of these talented young people. Their unending devotion to these students made the whole event a fantastic success.

Kona Music Sampler vol 2 was held on July 10, 2010 at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.

Headliners were Grammy Award winners Charles Michael Brotman and Charlie Recaido. Their slack key performance was received by loud and happy acclamation.
